Main Responsibilities - Temporary Head Chef, Wetherby Area

Lead all aspects of daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation Design, prepare, and serve a range of seasonal pub dishes using fresh and locally sourced ingredients Supervise, train, and motivate the kitchen brigade, driving high performance and team spirit Oversee menu planning, daily specials, and implement creative ideas to keep the offer exciting Control stock, order supplies, and manage budgets efficiently while minimizing waste Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times Work closely with management to review performance, gather feedback, and continually improve guest satisfaction

Essential Skills & Experience - Temp Head Chef (Food Pub) Opportunities

Proven experience as a Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or similar leadership role in fresh food pubs or restaurants Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen management and modern food safety standards Confident working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creating flavor-driven dishes Strong leadership skills: able to inspire, organize, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Reliable, committed, and able to adapt quickly to a new team and kitchen setup Available for a temporary full-time contract with immediate or short notice start
