About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Beaming Operative to join our team, based in Dewsbury. Working within an everchanging busy environment for a leading carpet manufacturer in the UK.

Job is Temporary to start if successful and business needs require will become a Permanent position.

To ensure running conditions are specified and adhered to, to produce carpet of the correct quality.

Ability to lift up to 5kgs each cone and load on the Creel.

Maintain and use basic tools of the job properly: Splicers, scissors, etc.

Keep the Beaming Supervisor and Operation Manager informed of any problems or quality issues, helping to minimize ongoing defects

Set up the machines in accordance with the guidelines.

Be able to help out on the tufting department if needed: Splicing, Changing Poly.

Have a good understanding of customer ranges, products and colours.

Ensure housekeeping maintained throughout shift

Be Health and Safety focused.

Be able to work as part of a team.

Potential to become Permeant member of our team.

Working hours Monday to Friday, Rotating week shifts, 6am-2pm Mon-Fri, 2pm-12pm.Mon-Thurs.

30 days holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays).

Qualifications

Proven experience in materials handling and warehouse operations Proficiency in forklift operation Familiarity with warehouse management systems Mechanical knowledge and understanding of construction processes Ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload materials Experience in shipping and receiving tasks
