Temporary Account Assistant/Bookkeeper

This role is working with one of UK\'s leading Artist Management Agency based in their London office.

This is a part time role, Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week from 9am - 5pm. 100% WFH position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Prepare, send, and file sales and purchase invoices
  • Reconcile monthly financial statements for Company bank accounts and credit cards (GBP, EURO, USD)
  • Reconcile, prepare and send monthly financial statements for all represented Artists
  • Accounts Payable: paying suppliers and service providers
  • Accounts Receivable: chasing clients for payment and logging sales invoices
  • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
  • Prepare and file all receipts pertaining to artist assignments ie fashion shows, shoots, personal appearances, consultancies following the Agency internal processing systems
  • Handle vendor forms for new clients
  • Ensure the Agency CRM database is up to date with Client Information
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure Xero is up to date with all Agency Financial Documents
  • Prepare weekly debtor/creditor reports
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • At least 5 years\' experience of double entry accounting systems
  • Knowledge and experience of Excel
  • Knowledge and experience of Xero
  • Knowledge and experience of Google Drive and Google Suite/Workspace Operating Systems
  • Knowledge and experience of Apple Mac Operating Systems
  • Excellent data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors
  • Fantasic interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all represented artists, clients, suppliers and service providers
  • Excellent time management skills and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate good organisational skills, meet tight deadlines and prioritisework load
  • Ability to work using own initiative and within a team
  • Must be an enthusiastic, committed, confident and ambitious individual willing to support colleagues
  • Must be a self-motivated individual and able to work from own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Experience of AP/AR
