The role:

To support the Financial Accountant in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month end and year end reporting. The role provides essential support in day to day accounting tasks contributing to the smooth running of the finance function.

Provide assistance to the Financial Accountant in relation to month end management accounts and financial reporting to senior stakeholders Calculate prepayments and accruals Administer and process employee expenses ONS submissions Prepare and post general ledger journals Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Balance sheet reconciliations Where necessary, liaise with other departments regarding finance queries Assisting with audit queries Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the Financial Accountant
