Summary
We are looking to recruit an Experienced Temporary Chef to assist in the running of a busy kitchen within a golf club setting for our busy Christmas period.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
Previous Chef Experience is essential
An up to date food hygiene certificate is essential
Must be a team player , Reliable, able to work on your own initiative and to step in to cover for the head chef
To prepare and serve food to the highest standards at all times
To ensure and maintain the quality of food preparation, production, and presentation
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area at all times and ensuring that the kitchen is left clean and tidy at the end of your shift
Make visual hazard checks of the kitchen and report to your manager
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, Safe systems of work and familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Follow relevant hygiene, health and safety guidelines and keep all relevant paperwork up to date.
Flexible to the needs of the business
Manage stock and order in stock to maintain optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and excellent customer service.
Strong verbal communication and excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent Customer Service Skills are essential
School Hours may be considered but must be flexible to the needs of the business and available in the evenings and weekends as required
Pay: 14.50-17.65 per hour
