Clerical Assistant - Electoral Services (Temporary 6 Months)





This temporary post supports the RCT Electoral Services team. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in working within an office environment using Microsoft Office within a customer-facing role.



You will play a vital role in the preparation and administration of elections taking place during the duration of the post. Working to a high standard, you will support Electoral Services staff in undertaking the Senedd election in May 2026. Tasks include ballot box preparation, answering telephone calls and using the Electoral Management Software to process registration and absent vote applications and to assist electors with queries. Following the Senedd election you will assist in the secure storage of electoral documentation and equipment.



Please note that you may be required to work during the evening and on weekends during busy periods.
