Our prestigious client in the heart of Piccadilly, offers so much, from restaurants, bars, cultural sites, shopping and more, and only a short walk from Green Park Tube Station.

We are currently looking to support them in their search for a collaborative, creative, organised, and thoughtful temporary Employee Communication and Channels Lead to work with the Employee Communication and Engagement team to deliver internal communications strategy and bring the brand to life from the inside out. This will be achieved through the creation of engaging storytelling, events, and campaigns, which underpin their values and brand.

The ideal candidate will be articulate, highly organised, and creative with a flair for storytelling and writing.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

You will design and deliver intriguing, distinctive and fun communications that exemplify our brand - both written and visual - to teams across a range of internal communications channels

You will manage the day-to-day operation of internal communication channels, including newsletters, emails, posters and company intranet - supporting the internal communications and engagement calendar with a range of activities that are aligned to the company priorities and culture and talent strategy, including:

  • Working with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, you will write, edit and proofread copy for various audiences across a number of channels including weekly, monthly and quarterly newsletters
  • Through storytelling and engagement activities you will elevate product and proposition, in support of company strategy - heroing the people that make it possible
  • You will bring to life our sustainability strategy and engage teams in a net zero journey
  • You will develop multi-channel campaigns, and will have a good understanding of how to capture the hearts and minds of different audiences, and drive behaviour change in adherence with brand guidelines
  • You will have experience of writing briefs and working with creative agencies and freelancers for both film and graphic design work
  • You will write on behalf of different audiences, including the CEO and other members of the Executive team
  • You will work closely with the People team to provide communications and engagement support on initiatives: aimed to enhance the employee experience, drive mastery, mobility and community
  • You will own the content planner, and support the content planning process, in conjunction with Marketing and the Employee Communications Manager - coming up with original and unexpected ideas that engage audiences
  • When it comes to live events; you will input and support in the delivery of live events such as an annual Summer Breakfast and all staff parties. You will work with the Retail Team to develop a calendar of weekly events.
  • Implementing ways to incorporate feedback and measurement into communications, will help to develop and respond to employees\' needs and adapt approach for communication accordingly
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • Highly creative, and adept at creating engaging digital and print communications across multiple channels
  • Brilliant writing, proof-reading and editing skills with a flair for producing compelling and engaging content, and an understanding of the importance of tone of voice
  • Keen attention to detail, and ability to turn around content quickly
  • Sound organisational and planning skills, with a knack for prioritising, recognising interdependencies and evaluating the effectiveness of work
  • Confident in utilising storytelling techniques and distilling key messages from company narrative
  • Confident in building meaningful relationships with internal stakeholder to achieve extraordinary things for our colleagues
  • Passion for learning and naturally curious
  • Keen ear to the ground, an empathetic listener who values feedback
  • Adaptable, positive, can-do attitude
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you will need previous experience of using digital communication platforms e.g. MailChimp and SurveyMonkey
  • Experience of Indesign, Photoshop and other design platforms
  • Experience of producing and publishing content on digital communication platforms
