Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes, ensuring smooth transactions for our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients, making it essential for the successful completion of property transfers.

Duties

Manage the conveyancing process from start to finish, including drafting contracts and conducting property searches. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly. Provide expert advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations throughout the conveyancing process. Negotiate terms of sale or purchase on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes. Prepare and submit all relevant legal documentation to appropriate authorities. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications with clients and third parties. Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in law or a related field, with specific training in conveyancing preferred. Proven experience in a conveyancing role, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the property market and legal processes. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests. Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
