DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented

TEMPORARY

CUSTOMER ORDER MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE

to join our team specializing in

SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING

for

CUMMINS

in

HUDDERSFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM.

This is a temporary role for 12 months.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the full order life cycle from order entry to delivery. Ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with global cross-functional teams, including parts distribution centers and manufacturing sites. Resolve complex customer inquiries through detailed research and deep understanding of internal systems and processes. Accurately maintain order records and customer communications in the appropriate systems to ensure full traceability. Ensure compliance with export policies and prepare required shipping/export documentation in line with relevant legislation. Act as a liaison for quality concerns, submitting Material or Process Non-Conformance claims via the Quality Management System. Prepare and distribute internal and external reports, and support customer visits at the local Huddersfield facility. Contribute to departmental goals by supporting process improvements and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:

Proven ability to deliver results through effective time management, prioritization, and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for customer support and building lasting customer relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with accurate data entry and solid computer literacy. Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a customer-centric mindset.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education requirements. Significant work experience in customer order management, account management, or supply chain, with intermediate-level knowledge gained through training or on-the-job experience.
