We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This role involves supporting financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Duties
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and promptly
Maintain organised financial records and filing systems
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding financial queries
Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience in a similar finance or administrative role is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is desirable
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A proactive attitude with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
