Job Description

Sheridan Grass Solutions is a family run business that work in both private and commercial garden/grounds maintenance. The role includes grass cutting of private gardens and green areas on commercial sites. It also will include litter lifting of various commercial sites. You may be required to help with some hedge cutting, pruning, turfing, powerwashing and general grounds maintenance. The successful applicant must be hardworking, reliable, trustworthy and able to work on own initiative and have good communication skills. Previous work experience in garden maintenance, to include grass cutting is beneficial. You will be part of a two man team and be responsible for grass cutting at both private and commercial sites as well as any other duties required. You must also have a full UK Driving Licence and no more than 3 points on your licence. You must be able to demonstrable awareness/knowledge of Health and Safety requirements relevant to amenity horticulture and the safe use of machinery/equipment. The successful applicant will be required to drive a transit type van.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 4.45 pm and Friday 7.45am to 2.15pm. The position is temporary until the end of the season with the possibility of extension
