Home Department General Assistant
15 Hours per week - Week 1 - Monday, Wednesday, Sunday. Week 2 - Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. All 5 hour shifts. Start date 1st September.
We are seeking Home General Assistant who is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to our valued customers.
Our store teams pride themselves on not only giving our customers the very best in product quality and choice, but also on providing them with an aspirational shopping experience through creating stunning visual displays. They work hard to constantly ensure stock availability, that our high standards are always maintained and that our customers enjoy exceptional service and specialist advice. Your focus will always be on the customer and meeting their expectations.
Our ideal Home General Assistants will:
Have experience working in retail, although we are open to talking to candidates from any background.
Have an energetic personality and ability to engage and connect with our AB1 target customers and lead all our customers to products that are most appropriate for their requirements.
Work stock from our store rooms and perform housekeeping duties, including tidying and creating displays
Be meticulous to the detail in terms of product placement, standards, presentation, visual elevation and overall look and feel.
Be able to use an Epos system.
Perform any other duties as required by the Department Manager or Garden Centre Manager
