TEMPORARY LECTURER - POLITICS (PUBLIC AFFAIRS)

The Faculty of Arts & Continuing Education within Glasgow Clyde College is currently seeking experienced individuals with a dynamic attitude to deliver courses within our Arts and Continuing Education faculty. We are looking for candidates who can teach the subject of

Politics

on our HNC and HND journalism and social science courses.

Candidates should ideally have experience of working in a public affairs environment or role and/or having experience of teaching the subject. They must be able to demonstrate their knowledge of Scottish, UK and local government politics.

You will aid excellence in learning through the preparation and delivery of high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment materials and by supporting our learners.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work to their own initiative, and relate well to different student groups. With excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure, candidates must have a flexible and can-do attitude to work. It is essential that you have obtained qualifications at SCQF Level 9, or relevant professional equivalent in the specialist area, or have significant relevant experience in the specialist area.
