Stapleton Gardner Solicitors are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Legal Secretary with experience in Private Client and Conveyancing for a temporary full time contract.

Duties, tasks and responsibilities:
Providing Reception Cover and Secretarial Duties to fee earner(s) including the provision of audio typing, ensuring files are well ordered, dealing with clients queries and filing
Managing fee earners diaries
Helping out with other office duties to include scanning of closed files and maintenance of archive and security documents
Discretion and Professionalism
A willingness to innovate and think laterally.
Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to cope with a wide range of demands and changing priorities.
Works well within teams, able to re-prioritise when needed to meet urgent deadlines or changed priorities.
Strong attention to detail, able to work within a team or independently, to produce accurate work.
Demonstrates an ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional discretion.
Must have good interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
Must be smart in appearance, punctual and reliable.
Must have experience of audio typing and be able to work at more than 50 words per minute.
Must be proficient with MS Office.
Must be motivated to achieve personal targets and develop the department.
Must be an accurate proof reader.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
This is a fixed term contract until 30 September 2025
The holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus 8 bank holidays pro rata.
