Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the Frontier team, based at Diss, on a temporary, fixed-term basis for 6 months.
You will plan and coordinate the delivery of a range of products to farmer customers, utilizing our Frontier delivery fleet and third-party transport. You will also work as part of a team to deliver first class customer service whilst remaining cost effective.

Your Role
As a Logistics Coordinator your role will involve:

• Providing first class customer service and experience within a customer-first culture
• Seeking to understand and deliver on customer expectations
• Ensuring concise communication to all customers and stakeholders
• Delivering on customer service KPIs and SLAs
• Achieving the best possible balance of service and cost, through good planning, communication and choice of transport option
• Delivering plans based on customer expectations
• Coordinating product availability for dispatch with the supply chain and production team
• Utilising own fleet transport cost effectively and working to budgets
• Ensuring we remain safe, legal and compliant
• Utilising third party hauliers and couriers to provide effective delivery service
• Monitoring haulier performance against SLA and expectations
• Planning deliveries and ensuring expectations are met
• Working in collaboration with the site team to ensure efficient out loading
• Some early morning starts so that you are on hand to deal with any issues that occur during the early hours
