A creative person is required to advance our busy marketing activities. With nearly 20 years as a respected UK e-commerce and catalogue business, our product range has expanded and sales have grown 20% each of the past two years. We work fast and efficiently, making full use of modern marketing techniques and are looking for someone with drive and a willingness to further increase traffic and growth to our websites through a variety of marketing campaigns, both online and direct.
You will work in a small but knowledgeable team to help coordinate marketing activities and outsourced agencies across all our brand websites as well as further building our own registered product brand.
Activities include:
Website - Product catalogue management, keeping product information and imagery up to date.
Copywriting - Writing product descriptions and blog posts, following SEO best practices
SEO management - Undertaking tasks to improve Google rankings
Direct Mail - Keeping printed content fresh and up-to-date
Project management - including planning, monitoring and reporting
Keeping on top of online marketing techniques as they continue to develop in the ever-changing world of online business
You will need an eye for design, a strong desire to learn, the ability to use your own initiative as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with marketing, website, and design tools plus experience with Word and Excel would be an advantage.
