Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team on a temporary basis. (18th October to 9th November)The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, along with excellent leadership skills to manage our kitchen staff. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes while maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, from our set menu Manage food production processes, ensuring quality control and consistency in all meals served. Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Implement and uphold food safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and management.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 weeks

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
