Job Description
Isle of Man Post Office is seeking to recruit 2 x Temporary Part-Time Post Persons for a duration of 6 months at our Northern Delivery Office in Ramsey. Flexibility on days of attendance will be required to include Sundays on a rota basis working 16.5 hours per week.
Full training will be offered to the successful candidate.
The Role
The role will include (but are not limited to):
Loading and unloading vehicles Use of PDA to scan items accurately Collecting, sorting, preparing and delivering mail Lifting and transporting of mail items up to 30kgs each Driving an IOMPO vehicle
Key Skills
We are looking for someone who:
A Full manual driving licence (not on R Plates), C1 Category Essential Has good communication skills The ability to work as part of a team Flexibility, self-motivation and shows initiative Good knowledge of postal products and services The ability to work quickly and accurately
