Job Summary


We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll and Finance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and accounting principles, along with excellent analytical skills to support our human resources functions.

Responsibilities



Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain employee records , ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate. Conduct data entry tasks related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status. Collaborate with the human resources department to resolve any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies. Utilise accounting software such as Bright Pay and Xero to manage payroll transactions effectively. Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll metrics and analysis for management review. Support accounts payable functions as needed, ensuring timely processing of invoices related to payroll expenses. Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

Skills



Proficiency in accounting software . Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to analyse payroll data and generate meaningful reports. Knowledge of human resources processes and regulations related to payroll management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with employees and management.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
