PA2day have successfully developed a niche in the local NI market for the provision of high calibre PA and Office Administration services, used by individual business professionals and larger corporate organisations to fulfil ongoing or interim assignments or special projects with PA2day's clients.
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide temporary cover in Belfast for a client on behalf of PA2day from 08 September 2025. The need for cover will be for 5 to 6 weeks or more and will be 4 days each week over this period (30hrs per week).
Applicants must:
have at least 1 years' experience in a reception support role
be a pro-active, confident and enthusiastic person with a friendly and professional approach and public image
welcome the challenge of working in a busy environment
have good organisational skills and communication skills
be a team player and be flexible in their approach to supporting the client
be self-motivated and comfortable working on their own initiative as necessary
be committed to completing tasks in a timely manner and demonstrate strict adherence to confidentiality as necessary
be competent in working with office technology and in all Microsoft Office products
Responsibilities will be varied, but will include:
being the welcoming first point of contact whether in person, by telephone or email to all visitors / customers (managing passes for visitors, etc.)
daily opening / closing of building
handle all daily incoming and outgoing mail / deliveries
potentially recording bookings for meeting rooms, arranging refreshments and other support needed, for example invoicing, receiving payments, etc.
Maintaining tidiness of the communal areas
Providing administrative back up as required
Familiarisation with the responsibilities and routines will be provided.
PA2day will potentially require ongoing cover for similar and other roles going forward and will be pleased to discuss ongoing work with suitable applicants. Current roles are in the Greater Belfast area; however, we have clients located across Northern Ireland.
