We sell thousands of sweets and treats and work with exclusive global brands to create exciting new products that will leave our customers on cloud nine.

We are offering someone the chance to join us as a temporary Retail Assistant (39.75 hours per week) covering a period of maternity leave - could you be the person we are looking for?!

You will work on a 2 week rotating shift pattern as follows:

Weeks 1

Mon - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Tues - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Wed - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Thurs - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Fri - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Sun - 9.00am - 1.00pm

Week 2

Mon - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Tues - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Wed - 8.45am - 5.00pm
Thurs - 8.45am - 8.00pm
Fri - 8.45am - 5.00pm

So what can you expect to be doing in this retail assistant role?

Working as part of a busy team, ensuring the best customer service is given to each customer Welcoming customers into the store, supporting them with their shopping experience if needed Providing excellent knowledge on products sold Helping customers with their checkout experience Involvement in regular stock replenishment. Making sure the store looks inviting and tidy at all times Answering customer phone calls in a professional manner Supporting your colleagues where necessary

What experience are we looking for? We would ideally like you to have some experience in:

A retail or wholesale environment Cash handling / till / checkout experience Having good organisational skills and a grasp of basic numeracy

For this role we would also need you to have:

The ability to communicate well at all levels. The determination to succeed in a fast paced environment. A friendly and approachable person who can build relationships with both customers and staff.
In return for your hard work we are able to pay an hourly salary of between 12.21-12.61 per hour.
