Quantum Scholars are working with a fantastic secondary school located near Slough, Berkshire, who are seeking a qualified Teacher of Mathematics for a temporary position from January 2026 to April 2026.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialism in Mathematics with strong subject knowledge Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3-KS4; KS5 desirable) Ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons Strong classroom management and behaviour-for-learning skills Commitment to supporting student progress and achievement Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to school life MUST have a Right to Work in the UK!

Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics across the relevant key stages Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and curriculum development Participate in school events, duties and wider school activities as required Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement
