Job Overview

We are seeking a tempoary dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries efficiently and safely. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. Perform shipping and receiving duties including checking shipments for accuracy and quality. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Use forklifts and other equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and report discrepancies as necessary. Apply basic maths skills for accurate record-keeping and inventory management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Experience in materials handling is beneficial. Valid forklift license (Counterbalance/Flexi) is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment as well as on own merit. Driving License required.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 55 per week
