This role also includes involvement in creating and managing
opening permits

scaffolding requests
, ensuring that our Temporary Works Supervisors (TWS) stay on top of client requests and
installation requirements
, maintaining clear communication and control throughout each project.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and control all temporary works in accordance with
BS 5975
and Pipewize Ltd procedures.
Supervise and support
Temporary Works Supervisors (TWS)
to ensure all inspections, permits, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Manage and record all
Hilti HAP installations and testing
, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer requirements.
Prepare and manage
opening permits
and
scaffolding requests
, ensuring all documentation and approvals align with client expectations.
Monitor
installation requirements
and verify that all Hilti HAP and temporary works are executed correctly and safely.
Carry out
load calculations for steel beams
and provide technical input for lifting operations and temporary support structures.
Liaise with clients, designers, and project engineers to ensure all temporary works are properly planned, approved, and implemented.
Maintain comprehensive records of all designs, permits, and inspections to ensure full traceability and compliance.
Promote a proactive, safety-focused culture across all temporary works activities.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a
Temporary Works Coordinator
in the construction or engineering sector.
Strong working knowledge of
BS 5975
and temporary works procedures.
Competence in
load calculation
and lifting operations involving steel beams.
Experience with
Hilti HAP systems
, installation, and testing.
Skilled in managing
opening permits
and
scaffolding requests
.
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
Recognised
TWC training (CITB )
