A significant industrial upgrade is underway at Point of Ayr, where an existing gas compression and treatment facility is being modernised and repurposed into an advanced CO? compression hub. We are looking for a capable Temporary Works Coordinator to provide oversight, coordination, and compliance management of all temporary works used during construction and modification phases.
You will serve as the central point of control for temporary works, ensuring designs are suitable, risks are managed, and construction teams are working to approved procedures. This is a Long-term duration contract aligned to a major energy transition initiative.
Core Tasks:
- Maintain the project's Temporary Works Register and keep all documentation current.
- Confirm temporary works design requirements and verify accuracy of design briefs.
- Manage design checks, approvals, and issue required authorisations to load and dismantle.
- Monitor safe installation, usage, inspection, and removal of temporary works components.
- Ensure variations and engineering changes follow the correct approval pathway.
- Conduct safety checks, assurance audits, and quality reviews.
- Approve internal or subcontractor temporary works solutions when competent to do so.
- Coordinate and communicate requirements effectively across construction and subcontract teams.
What we require from you:
- Current TWC CITB qualification (or equivalent) and CSCS card. - essential
- Civil, Structural or related engineering background - degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong track record managing temporary works on heavy industrial, infrastructure, or major construction projects.
- Confident communicator with excellent planning and coordination ability.
- Full UK driving licence.
