As your
duties will include but are not limited to:
Have a commitment to social housing and great customer service delivery in order to be the best landlord we can for our tenants and other customers
Accountable for an effective, quality and comprehensive customer, tenancy management service at the very core of our housing service
Achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction and tenancy sustainment
To lead, motivate and manage a wide range of core functions across tenancy and estate management including: neighbourhood estates, communal areas and shared spaces, anti-social behaviour and complex tenancy cases, safeguarding and vulnerable tenants together with allocations, rent income and debt recovery
To be the lead Officer within Mid Devon Housing in respect of its learning and development policy and practice under the requirements of the social housing professional Competency and Conduct standard
Leading on the delivery housing management apprenticeships and enabling us to grow and develop our teams in-house
Contribute to the achievement of its housing targets and objectives across all service standards and performance indicators
Play a key part in taking forward our services and delivering a community focused housing service that puts the tenants at heart of what we do

About you:
Excellent management, leadership and communication skills are essential
An ability to solve complex problems is also important
You must be able to organise your own workload
You need experience in social housing management and a customer focussed service
You must have an understanding of landlord and tenant obligations
You will have a clear customer focus and a flexible approach
You will have good people skills with a passion for making a difference
