About the role

------------------

We're looking for a senior manager to join our Housing People Services team and help deliver our shared purpose: to enable access to settled homes, sustain tenancies, and create safe, clean, and inclusive neighbourhoods

.

Your leadership will contribute to Homes for Everyone, a key priority within Brighton & Hove City Council's Council Plan to create a Better Brighton & Hove for All.

As Tenancy Services Operations Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership for end-to-end tenancy services, including rehousing, tenancy sustainment, seniors' housing, customer services, and ASB prevention and enforcement. You'll lead a trauma-informed, resident-centred service that embeds equality, diversity, inclusion, and statutory compliance in everything we deliver.

The Resident voice shape our services and we are increasingly engaging in new ways for residents to have greater involvement in holding us to account and supporting our continuous improvement journey.

We're looking for a professional who shares our passion for the following organisational values:

Be connected

- build strong relationships with residents, partners, and colleagues.

Be confident

- lead teams through change and deliver results under pressure.

Be innovative and creative

- develop practical strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Be diverse and inclusive

- champion equality and ensure services meet the needs of all communities.

Be healthy and psychologically safe

- foster a positive, supportive culture for staff and residents.

If you want to make a real difference to the lives of our tenants, this is your opportunity to lead change. Your work will help create safer, cleaner, and more inclusive neighbourhoods, ensuring residents have a voice in shaping the services they rely on.

Join us and play a key role in being a great landlord, by working in collaboration to build a city where everyone has a secure home and is part of a thriving community.

Before you start your application, please read our guidance here (Application Form guidance (brighton-hove.gov.uk) and (Supporting statement guidance (brighton-hove.gov.uk) as this gives important advice which will increase your chance of success in the shortlisting process.
