Tenant / Resident Liaison Officer
to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role
As a
Tenant Liaison Officer
, you will act as the
main point of contact for residents
, ensuring clear communication and a positive tenant experience throughout planned maintenance and refurbishment works. You'll build strong relationships with tenants, local housing associations, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery and uphold the company's excellent reputation.
Projects will mainly consist of
external works
(such as roofing and solar), with some occasional internal works to tenanted social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out
pre-entry visits
, tenant inductions, and provide clear information on planned works.
Collect agreements/approval forms and maintain accurate records.
Visit tenants in their homes to advise them of project timelines and activities.
Act as the
first point of contact
for all tenant queries and complaints, providing swift and effective resolutions.
Liaise with neighbourhood housing associations to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Attend and chair
tenant forum meetings
, ensuring residents are well informed and engaged.
Monitor and resolve customer complaints while tracking
tenant satisfaction levels
.
Manage your own diary and appointment scheduling effectively.
About You
Proven experience as a
Tenant Liaison Officer
or in a similar customer-facing role within the
housing or construction sector
.
Strong understanding of
tenant rights
and
housing regulations
.
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
Confident in handling complaints and resolving issues diplomatically.
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficient with technology and software for reporting and documentation.
Full UK driving licence
is essential, as travel across Yorkshire is required.
