Coaching players across our programme (juniors, students and adults), providing them with an excellent experience on court every time working with the rest of the coaching team.
This is a 22 hour per week role and the successful coach will work a core work programme on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4 - 7pm and on Saturday, or Sunday between 9 - 12pm. Time for meetings, admin and planning will be worked flexibly around the core work programme as will 3 hours per week on the University of Bristol Tennis Club (UBTC) and 2 hours helping us further develop our 10&U performance programme.
This is a permanent position in the UOB Tennis Team.
What will you be doing?

The focus of the role will be coaching on our junior programme, leading coaching sessions for children. The coaches are responsible for setting up sessions, registering players, leading excellent sessions every time and working with the wider tennis team on the quality of our programme to make sure all our juniors have the best possible experience and can maximise their potential with us.
2 hours per week will be invested contributing to our 10&U performance programme supported by our Junior Performance Head Coach. Areas of focus will include (but are not limited to):
Performance player tracker - record player progress, match results and development milestones
Competition support - identify suitable competitions for our junior players to enter (via their parents) and track results on our performance player tracker
Oorking with coaches across the programme identify good practice and build it into our scheme or learning with Head Coach Junior Performance
Player feedback - provide constructive and age / stage appropriate feedback to players
There will also be opportunities to supplement this core work programme on Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 - 11am (adult groups) and with individual lessons (delivered on a self-employed basis).
