Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and physical education, with experience in teaching and coaching various activities. This role involves working with students of different ages, fostering their skills in sports such as basketball, cheerleading, karate, swimming, climbing, and martial arts. The Coach will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of students in various sports disciplines. Provide instruction and guidance in techniques related to basketball, cheerleading, karate, swimming, climbing, judo, and other physical activities. Foster a safe and supportive environment for all participants by enforcing safety protocols and behavior management strategies. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence. Organize practice sessions, competitions, and events that encourage teamwork and sportsmanship. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a comprehensive physical education program. Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

Requirements

Previous experience in lifeguarding is a plus. Proven background in sports coaching or teaching physical education. Experience working with students in childcare or educational settings. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively engage students. Familiarity with various sports including basketball, cheerleading, karate, swimming, climbing, judo, and martial arts. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.
