Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with experience in various physical activities such as swimming, martial arts, and team sports. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with students of all ages and has a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging environment for learning and growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual students or teams. Provide instruction in various sports and physical activities, including but not limited to swimming, karate, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, and judo. Foster a supportive environment that encourages participation and personal development among students. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and promote teamwork during practices and events. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive program that enhances the overall experience for participants. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including lifeguard duties when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is preferred. Lifeguard experience is a plus, particularly for positions involving swimming instruction. Background in martial arts or other physical disciplines is highly desirable. Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children and young adults are required.
