What does the job involve?

You will carry out a variety of duties including:

Onsite HGV Shunting Crane Operations - full training will be provided on this Operate Hyster Reach Stacker Load and unload rail wagons, road vehicles and intermodal units as required in accordance with laid down instructions. PC and Systems updating on a daily basis

Key Skills (Essential/Desirable Skills)

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience;

Essential Skills

Excellent communication skills Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word etc)
Desirable skills and experience

Reach Stacker experience Class 1 HGV licence Overhead gantry crane experience Rail - Trackside safety training Experience with rail shunting Experience of working with Heavy Machinery a distinct advantage

What's on Offer?

For the successful candidate:

Five over seven shift pattern, rotating over days/backs and nights (40hr p.w) Shifts are generally (but not limited to) 0600 to1430, 0930 to1800, 1400-2230 and 2200-0630.
