Stepping Stones has an opportunity for a Term-Time Early Years Deputy Manager. We are a small, independent Early Years setting for children aged 2-4 years, situated in a welcoming village location with spacious indoor and outdoor facilities.
Opening Hours: 8:30am-3:00pm, term-time only (38 weeks per year) Rate of Pay: 14-16.00 per hour, plus 5.6 weeks' paid holiday (pro rata) & staff discount.
Requirements: Minimum Level 3 relevant Early Years qualification and experience.

This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in our nursery. The Early Years Educator will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the individual needs of children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
Manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive environment that encourages participation.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their development.
Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience within the nursery.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment for children to explore and learn.
Drive initiatives that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Leadership abilities to guide and inspire young learners effectively.
A solid understanding of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
