Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities



As a Test Analyst, you'll be part of a small, collaborative test team within RICS Digital. You'll own the testing process across the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality outcomes through comprehensive test planning, hands-on execution, and effective collaboration with developers, business analysts, and project managers.




You'll work closely with colleagues across RICS to ensure our digital solutions meet business needs and deliver a seamless experience for users.




You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills in test automation, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Agile delivery, helping shape our approach to continuous improvement and modern testing practices.




- Define and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios--including functional, integration, and regression testing


- Advise on QA processes throughout the software development lifecycle


- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver quality outcomes


- Support requirement reviews, run UAT sessions, and obtain business sign-off


- Perform manual testing and contribute to automation initiatives


- Maintain test environments and ensure consistency across releases


- Use Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test case management




This is a hybrid role, requiring flexibility to spend approximately 60% of your time in the office and 40% working remotely.

About You



You'll have experience in software testing and a keen eye for detail. A degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and proven experience in a Test Analyst role are essential, along with hands-on manual testing and familiarity with Azure DevOps. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are key.




Ideally, you'll also bring ISTQB/ISEB certification, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, automated testing tools such as Mabl, and basic SQL skills with an understanding of Agile methodologies.




- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)


- Proven experience as a Test Analyst, covering system, integration, and regression testing


- Experience of manual testing and maintaining test environments


- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test case management


- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure


- ISTQB/ISEB Foundation (or above) in Software Testing (preferred)


- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and automated testing tools (e.g., Mabl)


- Basic SQL skills and knowledge of Agile methodologies
