Working as a Test Analyst within the Testing function of Klipboard you will ensure the quality of the products by generating and executing product functionality tests and identifying and reporting product defects as part of a cross functional project team. You will be part of a dynamic, energetic and accommodating team.


The role of the Test Analyst:


Typically working within a test team but sometimes required to take sole responsibility for all aspects of testing. The Test Analyst will be required to work with development teams, project managers, end users and other groups to ensure that all criteria of testing are fulfilled.


You will work closely with the QA Lead.



You will be responsible for system testing of Klipboard's ERP Solution (Autopart) from end to end to ensure it is working as expected.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include:

Develop Manual Tests. Participate in all aspects of QA product lifecycle: understand the product requirements, test case creation, feature/regression/integration/end-to-end test execution. Run through test cases and report on results. Ensure defects are being reported on and tracked. Work with developers to diagnose and rectify software problems. Understand product business requirements and review functional specifications, to detect and remove defects early in the product development lifecycle. Write test cases in line with a specification to test core functionality, identify and investigate ambiguities in test results and propose solutions. Execute test cases on specific areas of product functionality and check outcomes against expected results. Participate fully in Agile development processes including communicating and voicing ideas, questions, and concerns openly with the team. Implement and use the departmental standard QA processes and tools. Work collaboratively with developers and testers to ensure quality is built into our applications as new features and technologies are introduced. Embrace continuous improvement as part of our software development process.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

ISTQB qualification. Experience of writing, maintaining and executing manual test cases. Expertise across the entire test lifecycle. Experience of integration testing. Exposure to automated testing (TestComplete, API testing, Rest Sharp, Robot framework). VM creation and maintenance. SQL and Managed Instance. Azure. Windows operating systems. Visual Studio. Source control. Git. InstallShield. VBScript. Powershell. Jira.
