As a ServiceNow Automation Tester, this is your opportunity to be part of a team that intends to revolutionise IT infrastructure within the banking industry. You will tasked to define and document test cases based on requirements, upgrading existing test cases to system changes, defining and executing regression test cases. Developing automated test scripts using ATF (Automated Test Framework) as the main testing tool. Having the ability to recognize defects and issues and reporting proactively. Work collaboratively with the stakeholders.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?

• Defining, documenting and executing test cases independently based on requirements for ITIL Processes. (Change Management, Incident Problem)
• Ability to recognize potential and actual issues proactively and ability to find defects and keep track of them.
• Closing collaboration with Business Analysts, Solution architects and Developers on requirements and associated functionality.
• Exposure to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodology, Testing Concepts (Black Box, System, Acceptance, Regression, Stress, Automation testing)
• Providing testing expertise and coach/mentor the testing team around best practices in quality assurance methodologies, practices and techniques
• Taking respective ownership as an individual contributor throughout the project lifecycle
• Working knowledge of Automated Test Framework tools (ServiceNow) or any automation tool like Selenium , QTP
• Identify and map stakeholders of the project

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Knowledge of any Automation tool (ATF preferred)
• Experience of testing various modules within ServiceNow (e.g. Change, Incident, Knowledge, Problem, CMDB, Integrations) Keep Management updated of progression
• Understanding of REST API\xe2\x80\x99s
• Proficiencyof workflows in various ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalogue, IT Asset Management, CMDB)

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience of ATF (Automated Test Framework) or any automation tool
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to evaluate constraints, risks and dependencies.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Competent in able to undergo Test Case Design, Test Planning and Test Strategies

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
