Test Engineer

Trizo Ltd is looking to appoint a full time Test Engineer to assist their busy team in the manufacturing department.

The Role

The successful Test Engineer will be required to thoroughly test and inspect PCBs to ensure our customers receive quality assured products. You will run tests on various components and features in order to identify and fix technical issues.

You will work closely with the Production and Inspection Teams to understand the product specification. Then, you will run a series of tests depending on product type to ensure it meets its specified standard, and identify and diagnose any malfunctions that could arise. Ultimately, you'll ensure our final products meet our quality standards and customer expectations. You will also action the customer's test requirements and report results.

Responsibilities

Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards)

Run quality controls on components and final products

Analyse test results, detect issues and track root causes

Suggest fixes and improvements

Document technical issues and solutions

Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards

Follow Customer test requirements and send test reports

Requirements

Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role

Familiarity with various testing techniques and use of equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators and in-circuit debugger/programmer

Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Knowledge of quality standards and regulations

Ability to troubleshoot and root-cause problems

Analytical mindset

High level of competency with Microsoft Office, including Excel & Word

Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus

Experience Required

A qualification in Electronic Engineering would be great but experience in a similar role is acceptable.

Salary: 36-40k DOE

Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays + Christmas Closure

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
