Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. You will be responsible for developing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects. Your expertise in various testing tools and methodologies will contribute to the overall success of our software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements. Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet specified performance criteria. Utilise tools such as TestNG for automated testing processes. Perform root cause analysis on defects to identify underlying issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with software developers throughout the SDLC to ensure quality standards are met. Manage release processes using Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery. Maintain documentation of test results and provide feedback to stakeholders regarding product quality. Work with cloud services such as AWS to facilitate testing environments.

Qualifications

Proficient in CSS and familiar with web technologies. Experience with TestNG or similar testing frameworks. Understanding of AWS services and their application in testing environments is advantageous. Strong skills in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques. Familiarity with SDLC principles and best practices in software development. Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies. Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Visual Studio for code management. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
