We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our products through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices.

As a

Test Engineer

you will play a key role in driving the success of testing our OEM products and prototypes. Your responsibilities will include:

Creating test plans from customer test specifications

Leading and conducting physical tests, on site at Rittal and at offsite test facilities

Analysing test results and data

Generating test reports, explaining pass/fail outcomes and suggesting improvements in the test fail outcome

Maintaining and improving upon the current Rittal Test Area & processes

Supporting design reviews

Speaking directly and regularly

Qualifications and experience:

HNC/HND in engineering field

Knowledge of mechanical testing methods

6S processes

Design of experiments

Technical report writing

Work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative

Effective written and verbal communication

Work well as part of a close knit team

Be flexible and proactive

Health and Safety awareness

We're offering a rate of 35,000 - 45,00 pa, based on your qualifications and experience.

This is a full-time position, based on working Monday - to Friday, 39 hours a week.
