Short Summary




Our Test Manager is a customer facing role across all our EMEA product lines, working in collaboration with our customer's project team, our development and implementation teams to define, script and operate our product testing process which is essential to validate our products operate in the manner specified by the customer and ensure that test results deliver expected outcomes. You will spend significant time with customers on site as we transition through our implementation process, through user acceptance testing and into live operation.

Key Responsibilities of the role:




Working proactively with our customers, our Test manager will lead and manage the design and testing process for our products to ensure they function in line with customer requirements and deliver expected results in line with our quality standards during our implementation process.


Providing expert advice to design and document the test strategy, tools and appropriate testing processes to ensure they operate in accordance with user requirements and agreed contractual specifications



Providing regular reports in relation to the test process, roadblocks and findings to the Project Stakeholders Identifying opportunities to continually improve testing methodologies, tools and techniques in line with industry best practice to reduce costs and improve quality Leading, motivating and managing the testing team and resources Managing the testing costs and provide regular budget projections for project costing. options analysis and business cases Following defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces

What experience do I need:




Due to the nature of this role you will need to be flexible in your working arrangements, working alongside customers at their sites and involving frequent travel and nights away from home. Initially this will be within Scotland and subsequently across the UK.



Extensive experience in a similar role specialising in automated testing, continuous integration and/or other automated tools Demonstrable experience in the delivery of significant software deployment projects Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field Demonstrable experience in leading and managing a testing team Experience working in an agile software development team environment Full driving licence and appropriate vehicle insured for business use
