As an Operations Test Technician, you your primary role is to test, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul a variety of components to strict Safety & Quality requirements. As the Test Technician you will accumulate and record test data as required for each product tested, calibrate and maintain test stations whilst complying with all Quality Test processes and procedures.
You will assist in delivering daily Production requirements in terms of Quality and Quantity to meet Customer expectations. You will utilise Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques whilst operating to defined "takt times" and product sequences.
The successful candidate will partake in an in-depth, one week Induction to align your skills with our Company Standards.
What You Will Do:
Monitor the Production Process and carry out Testing and Quality checks
Maintain working areas 5S
Fit parts to machinery and equipment
Make Quality Control checks on products
Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities
Perform evaluation, functional testing, and basic troubleshooting of product in a Quality manner, according to procedure, within time constraints, and whilst adhering to all Health, Safety and Environmental standards
Perform in-process and or final assembly tests.
Cross-train to learn the skills necessary to be competent in a variety of positions.
Have the ability to collate data and perform failure analysis whilst making productive contributions
Act and operate safely at all times, following Safety Procedures and requirements.
Learn & Develop technically, understand basic circuits, read and interpret basic schematic drawings.

What You Have:
Demonstrable ability of operating technical IT testing equipment
Operate to tight deadlines and cycle times
Demonstrable high level of assembly or mechanical aptitude and accuracy
Have a fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities (willing to work overtime)
The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures
Attention to detail, able to work with own initiative and self-motivated
You will possess effective communication skills to liaise with various levels of the organization
What You May Have:
Previous experience within a manufacturing assembly environment including test equipment
Technical degree OR electronic test and troubleshooting skills commensurate with a Technical degree with equivalent work experience.
