We are seeking a skilled Testing /Inspecting & Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems. The Maintenance Electrician will work in a dynamic environment, applying their technical expertise to support continuous production and operational excellence.
Duties
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
EICRS - Domestic & Commercial
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate tools and techniques.
Liaise with office to arrange secondary appts for the remedial team to carry out necessary works required to resolve items that are of an unsatisfactory nature.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
Document maintenance activities and report any issues requiring further attention.
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate repairs and minimise downtime.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies.
Assist in the planning of electrical upgrades or modifications as required for operational improvements.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Electrician or Maintenance Electrician within an industrial or commercial setting.
18th Edition
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
Electrical qualification or certification recognised within the UK (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation).
Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
