Department: Warping and Weaving

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 2pm - 12am

The Role: Warper / Warping



Are you detail-oriented, quality-driven, and eager to contribute to a proud tradition of textile manufacturing?
We are looking for a Warper to join our team, operating Karl Mayer warping machines to produce high-quality warps that meet our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities



Operate Karl Mayer warping machines efficiently and safely Load yarn and beams into the machine (no heavy lifting required) Monitor production quality and report any issues promptly Book yarn in and out using computer systems Weigh and return yarn to stores Produce warps to required specifications and deadlines Maintain a clean and organised workspace Follow the production plan and quality standards meticulously

Skills and Experience



Essential:

Computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:

Previous experience in warping Experience with Karl Mayer warping machines Background in textile manufacturing
