We are an established and growing restaurant group known for culinary excellence and exceptional guest experiences. As we expand our brand, we're launching a brand-new dining concept focused on authentic and innovative Thai cuisine. We're looking for a passionate and highly skilled Thai Chef to help us bring this vision to life from the ground up.

Position Summary:



The Thai Cuisine Chef will lead the development and execution of a high-quality Thai menu, blending traditional flavors with a fresh, modern presentation. This role is ideal for a culinary professional with deep roots in Thai culinary culture and a passion for creativity, authenticity, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Menu Development: Design and develop a full Thai menu, including appetizers, mains, desserts, and beverages. Incorporate regional Thai specialties while ensuring a balance of authenticity and creativity. Regularly update the menu based on seasonality and customer feedback. Kitchen Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff on Thai cooking techniques, presentation standards, and ingredient handling. Maintain high levels of quality, consistency, and cleanliness in all food preparation and execution. Work collaboratively with management and other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Sourcing and Ingredients: Identify and source high-quality ingredients, with a preference for fresh, local, and authentic Thai products. Build relationships with specialty suppliers and vendors. Quality and Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Monitor food cost and waste to ensure profitability without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

Proven experience (5+ years preferred) as a Thai Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel. Deep knowledge of Thai ingredients, cooking methods, and regional styles. Ability to create both traditional and contemporary Thai dishes. Strong leadership and team management skills. Culinary degree or formal training in Thai cuisine is a plus. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Passion for innovation, culture, and delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
