The Three Roles - Customer Marketing Manager, Social Media Executive and Customer Marketing Executive
We are looking for three passionate, driven and creative individuals to join our Marketing team at Blum UK head office in Milton Keynes.
Customer Marketing Manager
The Customer Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving engagement, retention, and demand across Blum UK's customer base. Operating within a B2B environment, this role is responsible for developing and delivering impactful marketing strategies that strengthen customer relationships and support commercial growth. Working closely with sales and wider business teams, the Customer Marketing Manager ensures that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the needs of our customers, reinforcing Blum's reputation as a trusted and innovative partner in the KBB industry.
In addition to leading campaign strategy and execution, the role includes line management of the Customer Marketing Executive. Providing day-to-day support, coaching and development to ensure high performance and delivery across all customer focused marketing activity.
This is a pivotal role that blends strategic planning with hands on execution, contributing directly to the success of a highly respected B2B brand.
3-5 years + in a marketing role with, customer marketing playing a prominent part in experience
A degree in marketing, business, or a related field would be desirable.
Previous work with premium brands would be beneficial to the role, preferably with experience in a B2B environment.
Knowledge of the KBB, furniture or design industry is advantageous.
Proven experience in customer marketing strategy development - to include creating and managing campaigns tailored to trade customers.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (CRM, email platforms, social media for B2B)
Competence in using marketing automation tools and customer segmentation techniques.
Experience managing trade relationships.
Skilled in gathering customer insights through data, surveys, visits, or feedback mechanisms and translating them into insights and actionable strategies.
Lead or supported events, trade shows, or training days tailored to business customers.
Experience developing POS materials, displays, or in-store marketing for customers.
Experience in understanding and supporting sales targets. translating marketing initiatives into revenue-generating activities.
Proficient in Microsoft applications with ability to create visual presentations to engage stakeholders.
Confident in everyday use of digital marketing tools such as CRM, email automation platforms and social media (specifically LinkedIn)
Proven experience in project management with the ability to handle multiple campaigns, timelines and stakeholders efficiently.
Social Media Executive
This person will play a key role in bringing Blum UK's brand to life across digital platforms. This position is responsible for implementing the company's social media strategy, producing engaging, on-brand content, and cultivating active communities across all key channels. By driving meaningful engagement and enhancing online visibility, the Social Media Executive helps build brand awareness, strengthen customer relationships, and support business objectives.
Must have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for social media platforms and digital trends, with a deep understanding of how social media can drive engagement and business success.
Flair for creating innovative and visually compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. An interest in photography and/or videography is desirable.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences across various platforms in a consistent and professional manner.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines, quality standards, and platform-specific requirements.
A willingness to quickly adapt to changes in social media trends, tools, and algorithms. Flexibility to adjust plans and content in response to audience feedback or business objectives.
A proactive approach to managing tasks and an ability to work independently when needed with the ability to take initiative, stay ahead of trends, and anticipate the needs of the brand.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Able to build strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and external partners, contributing to the overall success of campaigns.
Customer Marketing Executive
The Customer Marketing Executive supports the delivery of marketing activity that drives engagement, retention, and loyalty across Blum UK's customer base. Working in a B2B environment and reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, this role plays an important part in executing campaigns, delivering marketing materials, and ensuring that our customer marketing activity is both impactful and aligned with our brand values.
This hands-on role requires a proactive and organised individual who is keen to learn and develop within a marketing team. The Customer Marketing Executive works closely with colleagues across marketing, sales, and customer engagement to help deliver targeted campaigns and support customer-centric initiatives that contribute to commercial success.
1-2 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within a B2B or customer-focused setting.
A relevant degree in marketing, business, communications or a related subject is desirable.
Basic understanding of customer marketing and campaign delivery across digital and offline channels.
Experience using digital tools such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media (especially LinkedIn).
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and any design software (e.g., Canva or Adobe Suite) is a bonus.
Experience supporting the coordination of events or marketing activations is beneficial.
Some exposure to customer data or campaign reporting is advantageous but not essential.
An interest in the KBB, interiors, or design industries is a plus.
