Now is a great time to join the Theatre Department at Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Stores / Procurement function of the operating department.
The Theatre stores form an integral part of the operating theatre department to ensure that the clinical areas have the required stock needed to conduct surgical and anaesthetic procedures safely. The post holder will be responsible for the ordering of stock and non-stock supplies, receiving and distributing stock, reconciling purchase orders and dealing with invoice queries.
The successful candidate will need to be proactive, have a desire to learn in their area of responsibility and be able to develop good working relationships with theatre staff, managers and other stakeholders.
To provide administrative and clerical support to the Directorate Resource Manager for stock management within the Theatre Department.
To order, receive and distribute stock throughout the operating theatre complex.
To work and liaise with suppliers in relation to invoice queries.
