Gloucester, Bristol, and Keynsham

Basic Salary:

27,000 per year

Potential Earnings:

Up to

33,240

with up to

two sleep-in shifts per week


Hours:

Rota-based, Plus additional sleep-ins

What You'll Be Doing



Supporting children with complex needs and trauma histories Using trauma-informed approaches to build confidence and life skills Delivering person-centred care through support planning and empowerment Ensuring safeguarding in collaboration with your team and external agencies Promoting independence, fun, and opportunities for growth Maintaining clean, welcoming home environments Keeping accurate, professional records Working on a

flexible rota

, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

What You'll Need



Level 4 Diploma

in Residential Childcare or equivalent (or willing to work towards)

Full UK driver's licence

Experience working directly with children or vulnerable groups Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma (ACEs) Resilience, reliability, and a sense of humour!

Desirable Backgrounds Include:



Psychology, education, clinical care Health care or early years Adult social care or youth services
But all transferable skills that could have a positive impact on children's lives we would welcome!
