Job Description

Basic salary between 25,500 and 26,000



You will be required to sleep in up to twice a week, taking your wage between 31,610 and 32,110



The higher range of salary is only accessible if Level 3 or 4 has been achieved and/or when it is obtained.

Key Responsibilities/ Skills:



Following all company policies and procedures in order to keep everyone safe and provide quality care including the staff code of conduct Upholding and understanding relevant legislation such as the Children' Home Regulations 2015 and in particular the Quality standards Promote quality of life satisfaction through individual support planning, empowerment, promoting life skills, positive, preventative approach and promoting development of managed risk To encourage and facilitate individuality, confidence and self-esteem to achieve the best outcomes for our Children using trauma informed approaches to care Working in partnership with team members and external agencies to ensure safeguarding Accurate record keeping Reliable shift attendance and undertaking of duties Comprehensive understanding and willingness to undertake care planning Ensuring clean and pleasant home environments in each home Willing to undertake the training provided and work towards the mandatory qualifications in this sector Diploma Residential Care CYP within agreed timescales Undertaking shift work we are open 365 days of the year for our children and staff work on a rota system over all hours, generally 8 hour shifts and sleep in duties

Experience/ Qualifications



Experience and understanding of Safeguarding and Equality Experience of working directly with children Understanding of child development Understanding of the impact of trauma and ACE'S Resilient and professional attitudes to caring for others and maintaining the best standards Diploma in Children's residential care Level 3 / 4 or are you willing to work towards? Those with previous relevant experience or careers particularly welcome: such as psychology/ clinical roles/ education roles/ adult care/ health care roles/ early years
