experienced Residential Support Worker

to join our team and play a vital role in transforming young lives.

The Role - Residential Support Worker



As a Residential Support Worker at Trinity Welfare, you will provide

consistent, high-quality care

to children and young people in line with their individual care plans. You will work within a

therapeutic framework

, supporting emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and personal development.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, resilient, and passionate about working in

children's residential care

.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver day-to-day care within a children's residential home Build positive, safe, and trusting relationships with young people Apply

therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches

in all interactions Support behaviour management using de-escalation and positive behaviour support Safeguard children and promote their welfare at all times Complete accurate daily records, incident reports, and care documentation Work collaboratively with managers, professionals, and external agencies Maintain OFSTED -compliant standards and professional boundaries

Essential Criteria (Please apply only if you meet ALL requirements)

Minimum 1 year experience

working in a

children's residential home

Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)

or

working towards


?

Full-time availability

, including shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins
?

Full UK driving licence


?

Therapeutic background

(trauma-informed care, attachment-based practice, PBS, etc.)
?

Right to work in the UK

Experience supporting children with EBD or complex needs Understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures CPI / MAPA / Team Teach or similar training
