We are a therapeutic residential care organisation providing safe, nurturing homes where children and young people can heal, grow, and reach their potential. With two Ofsted-rated "Good" homes and a third opening soon, we are expanding our dedicated team in Burton-on-Trent.

The Role
As a Therapeutic Children's Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. Using trauma-informed approaches -- including the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) -- you will provide consistent, compassionate care that promotes emotional regulation, resilience, and positive development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver consistent, high-quality care within a therapeutic residential setting
Use trauma-informed approaches to support emotional wellbeing and recovery
Help children build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping strategies
Contribute to the development and delivery of personalised care plans
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to maintain a safe and nurturing home
Model empathy, consistency, and positive behaviour
About You
Minimum 1 year's experience in residential childcare (preferred)
Understanding of therapeutic or trauma-informed care (PACE experience beneficial)
Compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Committed to ongoing training and professional development
